Prologue:
Nope, I’m not speaking about the Blink book by Malcolm Gladwell..(the adaptive subconscious, etc..), although it has some point that came close this story. I just wanna share something in life that no one in this world could predict, called fate. (Yeah, u had those premonition and all the similar stuffs, but still u couldn’t avoid God’s will, right?). In just a splitting second blink of an eye, your life turned upside down, from dusk til dawn, from alive to dead.

And nope, I’m not gonna tell some stories about how lucky we were despite the Bali Getaway which had turned out to be a shocking vacation. Of course I (and all of us) felt grateful that we were missed from the tragedy. It’s just that I realized more, that life could end suddenly without warning. Those people hung out in the ex-café which had blew up, whose gonna tell that their life would end up that way?? It shocked me.
First of all, why everyone suddenly became interested in how we got there and why didn’t we tell about the trip?? It’s very none of their business though. It was our choice to go there without the obliged to tell anyone, and then it was definitely our choice too, to work instead of banana boating due to the blasting incident.

Work? Yup, like I said before to some of you, we planned to getaway from routines. The planned went well until late that night. So many coincidences happened next, considered as an instinct. Not to mention the Jimbaran place where we supposed to have our meal or how lucky we were to stroll around in Legian instead of Kuta Square?? etcetera..etcetera..(did I sound like those bluffers? Hahaha..)..but anyway, the rest of the lazy Sunday ended up planning and building a media crisis center. It was real.
We’re back to the blink stuff. You see, in just a blink of your eyes, your life could be different. In just a blink in Bali, a vacation turned up to be an after hours working. And if according to the Blink book, it’s all about a decision you make within seconds through your instinct.
Epilogue:
Well, whatta life! I’m sure there were always some positive reasons in every case. We learn new things everyday. Anyone might feel his or her vacation had ruined somehow, but honestly speaking, I didn’t though. Yes of course I’m a bit disappointed we couldn’t get appropriate vacation, but in the other side, I’m really proud of us. The “stick together team” had really done a fabulous! Ever somebody notice that? I don’t really care though.
